I did upgrade the firmware to try and fix things. I am sure it is the Linksys because I cannot ping the private side of the Linksys or between any of the PCs when things lock up. Also, are you sure it's not on the modem side? You could probably pick up a WRT54GL fairly cheap to do all of the above. Another option for the GL or the WRK would be to try DD-WRT 3rd party firmware on it. Loads more options. I run it and love it. Couple of thoughts…. when was the last time you upgraded the firmware?
